Coast to Coast Walk

The Wainwright Coast to Coast long distance path is 192 miles from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire.

The C2C is one of the most popular National Trails in England and one of the top walks in the world.
Most people walk the C2C path West to East.

Here is a video from YDNP about the new flagstones path from Nine Standard Rigg, White Mossy Hill to RowenTree Gill.

The Halfway Stone

The walk generally takes between 12 and 16 days. Keld is approximately day 7 and marks - with a stone located just outside the village - the Half Way Point of the walk.

Coast to Coast Passport

We are proud supporters of the Coast to Coast Passport initiative and act as a Stamping Agent in Keld.

Keld C2C Sign
This is a great not-for-profit venture that encourages walkers to collect Passport Stamps on their journeys along the route and pick up an Official Completion Certificate when they complete their walk.

If you are not already familiar with the Coast to Coast Passport, why not have a look at their website - www.c2cpassport.com - where you’ll find everything you need to know.
