Mark and Jude offer you a warm welcome to Greenlands B&B on the outskirts of Keld in Upper Swaledale, from where you can enjoy stunning views up and down the Dale.
We are close to both the Wainwright Coast to Coast route (0.8 miles) and the Pennine Way/ Herriot Way (1 mile from Keld or 1.1 miles from Thwaite (bottom of Great Shunner Fell).
We are also close to The Dales Walk which is a seven-day walk, taking in Wensleydale, Whitsundale and Swaledale.
There are two rooms at Greenlands B&B, both en-suite, and beautifully furnished with luxury linen and towels; luxury toiletries and an extensive range of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh milk.
If you are wandering around the garden please take care as the paths are steep and slippery.
The rooms, Hay Loft and Calf House, are part of the old cottage dating back to 1859.
We are fully equipped for walkers. There is a small drying area for wet clothing and muddy boots, laundry service.

You can unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Swaledale, one of the most northern dales in the Yorkshire Dales National Park; stunning views 'Up and Down Dale'.
To explore the Dales you can choose from walking, cycling, spotting scenes from James Herriot; (The TV series from the late 1970s and the new series starting in 2020 "All Creatures Great and Small"), exploring Yorkshire's rich heritage, or mooching round the lovely market towns of Richmond, Leyburn, Hawes or Barnard Castle and delightful villages such as Reeth, Muker and Keld.
